The Third Man (1949) – September 28, 2019 at 9pm
Cynical pulp novelist Holly Martins (Joseph Cotten) arrives in shadowy Vienna and is soon investigating the mysterious death of his old friend, Harry Lime (Orson Welles). Martins soon learns that everything he thought about his friend was a lie, and thus begins an ever-thickening web of deception and murder.
TRIVIA NUGGET: In 1999, the British Film Institute voted The Third Man as the greatest British film of all time. The film was directed by English film director Carol Reed, who would go on to win a Best Director Oscar for Oliver!
