Every spring for nearly the last decade, we’ve brought some of the best and brightest high school students from Northwest Indiana together in our studios for a fun, unique and memorable experience.
Not only do these young adults get to be on TV, but they get to compete against their peers to see who advances to the next round in Making the Grade – a fun and challenging quiz show that brings students from a dozen Northwest Indiana high schools together to compete for scholarships and, of course, bragging rights.
Hosted by Andy Schultz, each episode features two area teams going head-to-head answering questions in a wide range of subjects. Winning teams advance towards the finals, striving to be the season’s Making the Grade champion! (See a list of schools competing this year below)
Season 9 of the locally-produced quiz show premieres June 11 at 5:30 p.m. on Lakeshore PBS, but you can stream every episode – and find out which team walked away on top – right now with Lakeshore PBS Passport.
Don’t have Passport? Get it now and start streaming the best of PBS as well as select local programming!
